Hello everyone, my name is Arielle. I currently reside in NYC. I am starting my bachelors online after having completed my associates in 2014. It has been 11 years since I have been back in school and this is my first time participating in online classes already feeling overwhelmed. This is a completely new experience for me which may prove to be challenging, but it is long overdue and I am up for the challenge. I currently work as a staff nurse for a hospital clinic and hope with this new degree I will be one step closer to obtaining a nurse practitioner license or in the field of nursing management. I am open to the possibilities the new degree will provide for me. When I am not working I enjoy reading books, going shopping, trying new restaurants, and in the summer, exploring the outdoors. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity, that this new degree will bring me closer to achieving my professional and personal goals. I aspire to be a positive role model for my 16 year old brother whom I have custody of and show him school is not a waste of time like some of the classes he claims to be are. That an education can open a lot of doors to success and happiness, this is my personal goal. I can’t wait to virtually get to know all my fellow classmates and good luck to everyone, we got this!
