Chapter 11 is about leadership. Leaders influence others, help guide teams, make decisions, and set the tone for the workplace. Good leadership can help employees feel supported and motivated, while poor leadership can create confusion, stress, and low morale.

For this discussion, think about a leader you have worked with, learned from, or observed in a workplace, school, military, sports, volunteer, or group setting.

In your first post, answer these questions:

1. What made this person an effective or ineffective leader?
2. How did their leadership affect the people around them?
3. What leadership quality stood out the most?
4. What is one thing you learned from this leader?
5. What leadership quality do you think is most important in the workplace?
