Chapter 8 is about communication and why it matters at work. Good communication helps people understand each other, work as a team, solve problems, and avoid confusion.

For this discussion, think about a time when communication helped or hurt a situation at work, school, or in a group.

In your first post, answer these questions:

1. What happened?
2. Was the communication good or bad?
3. How did it affect the situation?
4. What could have been done better?
5. What is one communication skill people need at work?
